Caber Energy managed every aspect of this Enercon 330kW wind turbine project from conception to commissioning. After an initial feasibility study, Caber Energy obtained planning consent and a viable grid connection agreement with SSE for our client. We then negotiated project finance for our client through the Co-operative Bank and went on to coordinate the detailed technical, legal and financial due diligence requirements’ of the lender’s through to financial close. Procurement, civil works and eventual construction were also managed by Caber Energy and this 130 acre farm now derives almost all of its income from renewable energy with the turbine producing an annual output of circa 700,000kWh.
