Caber Energy were asked to look at the viability of a medium sized wind turbine on lands owned by Moray Estates. The site that was eventually selected for development required significant negotiations with Inverness airport and the MOD – an area where Caber Energy has extensive experience. Caber Energy provided the client with a turn-key service and the turbine is now producing 750,000 kWh of renewable energy per annum - providing a very good diversified income for Moray Estates and offsetting over 350,000 kg of CO2 per annum.
